Hanasaku Iroha episode 4

Minko chockes Ohana

Minko: “What the hell are you looking at?!”

Minko sounds like a name you’d give a cat…

Nako: "I couldn't finish it" *shock*

That’s why you shouldn’t masturbate at work, even if it is thrilling…

So the perverted-not-so-much-a-star-novelist now works in the inn to pay for his living expenses. For some strange reason he is especially good at cleaning the bath (shamed be he who thinks evil of it).

Ohana’s first day in school with Minko and Nako is quite… different. Just what kind of far away village did she move to that the whole class flips out upon hearing she is from Tokyo? At least she is rather popular and won’t have problems getting along with others. Minko turns out to love Tohru, and there was, of course, the obligatory bathing scene that mustn’t be missing in any anime.

My guess is that there will be lots of drama in episode 5, because the girl from the other inn (forgot her name) seems to be going out with Tohru, which Minko sees as she chokes Ohana.

Tomoe raging over the fact she is single

I certainly sympathize, though she is quite good looking, so I don’t really get it

Hanasaku Iroha episode 3

Hanasaku Iroha: wet Nako

Wet Nako, FUCK YEAH!!! Her boobies are rather large now that the work clothes don’t cover them

I sort of regret having stopped watching Hanasaku Iroha. Episode 3 was hilarious! Not only did it contain bondage, wet girls and lesbian service, but the comedy is very well done. Minchi still hates Ohana, but well, it seems to me they actually get along rather well.

I officially award Ohana the price for maximum distance to reality. Ohana’s train of thought: “Hey, I am taken by a weirdo of the inn, tied up in a perverted way as well as gagged, but that’s no reason to scream when the cloth in my mouth falls out!”

So our “star novelist” abducts Ohana, ties her up and gags her to get ideas for his sex novel he is writing (which is starring Ohana, Minchi and Nako btw. Nice service scenes :3 ), but she doesn’t see the need to get the hell out of there (by means of screaming for instance).

So when Nako wants to clean his room he tries to confine her too, but fails miserably as more and more people gather around his room. When he tries to tie up an old guy working in the inn, he just blushes, which creeps the hell out of him.

All that ends with our pervert trying to kill himself and screaming “I don’t want to die” once he fell into the ocean. Nako rescued him and all was well, more or less.

Asus eee PC: get! + Fedora 15 rant

Otakufied Asus eee PC

So I was shopping today and this little computer here caught my attention and had me think about how useful it’d be. As far as usefulness is concerned, I didn’t really have the chance to “test” it yet, but it looks promising: the battery lasts very long and it is really light. Though it has just one CPU, playing videos up to 720p works just fine (after some work on the playback settings of smplayer).

After I bought it, the first thing I did was getting rid of this horribly slow Windoze 7 (starter edition). I figured it’d be a good opportunity to test Fedora 15, which ships with gnome3. I have to say: stay away! No doubt, gnome3 is a lot prettier than gnome2, but it’s a pain to work with it, as you have to navigate for a relatively long time for all programs that are not in your “favorite” list. It’s also a bit bugged (for instance, I couldn’t set up mobile broadband normally despite the device drivers being present and working because the “options” button simply didn’t do anything).

Fedora itself had a couple of crashes after just using it for about 30 minutes and doing nothing exceptional, both before and after I updated all packages, which is also not good.

So I decided to go for Fedora 14 and gnome2 again, which I am using to write this article right now, and it works perfectly fine! Wireless LAN worked out-of-the-box, mobile broadband just needed the usual configuration, the touch pad worked only after I installed the system (not on live cd), which is also perfectly fine with me. The only pain in the ass was getting a live cd working on an usb flash drive. The fedora liveusb creator created non-working images on the usb flash drive and I had to fiddle with it a bit to get it work, but after that, everything worked perfectly.

So my advice to anyone considering to get Fedora 15: stick with Fedora 14 for now. Gnome3 is a bit bugged and traded a lot of functionality for looks and Fedora 15 itself is a bit unstable at the moment.

The netbook itself is well designed. One of the few note-/netbooks I got the feeling that whoever designed it knew what he was doing. All the ports are located on the side of the netbook, a little towards the screen. This is one of the things that always bugged me on my 16” notebook: the sound ports are located on the front and the three usb ports are all located on the front right side, which will greatly annoy you whenever there is something connected to them.

Steins;Gate episode 9

Makise Kurisu: "I'm not crying!"

Service angle + tsundere queen = win

Makise Kurisu: "That's if you don't mind ending up as a gel-Okarin."

This is exactly the kind of rape-face I fear when encountering someone in a dark alley

So it is not revealed whether Ruka was disarmed or not. Feyris seduces Daru into telling him about the Phone Microwave. Sending the mail to Ruka’s mom (Eat more veggies) had one astonishing effect: The IBN 5100 was never found by Okarin. Kiryuu Moeka also behaved very strangely. My guess is that she, like Okarin, can retain her memories after a world line change. That would explain her paranoid nature when it comes to taking pictures of where she went and what she did as proof. It’s probably not of much use when the world line changes. Imagine remembering things that actually never happened. It would drive you crazy.

On a side note, Makise Kurisu is a tsundere tensai hentai 2ch shoujo.

So Okarin tries to find the IBN 5100 again and asks Feyris for help. Feyris is revealed to be the daughter of the man who owns all the land around Akiba. Furthermore, Feyris was the one who was asked to bring moe-culture to Akiba. She agrees to help Okarin under the condition of letting her send a D-Mail first, 10 years into the past. But Feyris refuses to let Okarin read the message she wants to send. He, after some arguments, finally agrees to let her send it. The world line changes once again. Okarin realizes that they might’ve done something that cannot be undone. Shortly after that realization, he notices that Akiba isn’t an otaku fortress anymore.

Personally I think Okarin is too naiive. He is too careless as to how many and what messages can be sent to the past. Minor changes can become huge changes given a larger timeframe. Basically, letting someone send a message back in time without knowing the contents is really stupid. Telling someone not to go somewhere on a specific day may cause them to never meet someone they were supposed to meet, which could lead to things like certain people are never born or similar stuff. You can imagine how great the changes that are derived from this one little thing can be.
