Album of the week: Obsidian Shell - Evershade
I’m not really able to distinguish music genres and honestly I don’t even care. The album is nice and I bestow upon it 3.5/5 Kurisus:

Schneizel just made an illegal move in chess, so it doesn’t make sense that he could say checkm… wait wrong anime
Okarin is seriously starting to get on my nerves. That wuss should stop bitching and do something to save Kurisu and Mayuri. His harem is at stake for fucks sake and instead of trying to land the jackpot with Kurisu he is just sitting around doing nothing…
I mean just think about it. If Okarin has to get by without Kurisu for a while until he finds a way to un-kill her, he should at least feel Kurisu up like he did with Rukako. Some nice little groping action with Kurisu would make for some good fanservice. That is, if keeping her alive is temporarily impossible.
Also, I wonder why there is absolutely no screen time for Moeka. Mayuri mentioned she is a member of the lab again, so why isn’t she visible anywhere? As it seems Kurisu went to the location where she was stabbed in the first episode. That could mean she regains memories of what happened there. I’m curious as to what happened.
On a side note:
Anyway, this episode gets just 3/5 Kurisus:

Yeah right, tell her, Okarin. Tell her you enjoyed raping her and that she needs to wear nothing but lingerie. Disregard that, I like ponies!

I guess this paves the way for Okarin to forgive Moeka and make her a harem lab member again. Understandable, she has quite the rack, after all.
This episode was quite nice again. Lots of interesting stuff happens. Okarin wants to find out who FB is and Moeka joins him. Okarin is reluctant at first, but figures there is no harm in having her with him.
After a couple of mistakes and time leaps back to continue to pursue the guys transporting the IBN 5100, they discover that Mr. Braun is involved with SERN. In fact, it turns out he is FB and used Moeka. After telling his story, he shoots Moeka and himself to protect his daugther, Nae.
Altough I don’t quite get why he had to kill Moeka before killing himself (it shouldn’t have made a difference), doing so probably made Okarin forgive Moeka for what she did in a different world line. At least his reaction suggests he did. This means Moeka has a fairly good chance to get back into Okarin’s harem lab.
Okarin also – finally – realizes the first D-Mail he sent, even though it was by accident, was the one that “revived” Kurisu. I’d like to point out that it was likely Okarin who was screaming in the building in the first episode. As to why – I don’t know. Maybe he was the one stabbing Kurisu or, and this is more likely, those were screams of despair. I’m not sure if this rare metal collectible Mayuri lost has any relevance, but there is a good chance it does.
Good drama and story development, so it gets 4/5 Kurisus:
First of all, I used Firefox since version 1.5. I used to be a very happy user, grateful for a great browser that was even open source software. However this recently changed and got worse and worse.
Firefox used to be lightweight and fast. This is one of the major reasons for me to use it. This changed for the worse over time. Since Firefox 3, it’s gotten to the point of being (incresingly) slow compared to other browsers and even itself (using prior versions).
Since version 3 but especially in version 5 and 6, the amount of memory leaks seems to have increased drastically and after an hour or two, Firefox usually sucks up 1.2gb (!!!) RAM with only 3-5 tabs open, without flash or even javascript active. It lags, often has weird bugs (right click menu showing only garbage at random, websites suddenly not working correctly even though they worked fine before and still do using a different browser) or crashes for no apparent reason. Even if you just start it, Firefox already sucks up 350mb RAM where other browsers use 100mb, with little increase of used memory per additional tab.
One of the last things that still made me use Firefox were addons. But due to the frequent updates that change nothing at all on the surface but break addons every time and the fact that other borwsers out there offer similar addons, I have come to the conclusion that it’s time for me to stop using Firefox. One could argue that you don’t need to update, but for security reasons, one should always update asap.
I loved Firefox for a long time, but at the moment, it’s close to unusable, if it isn’t already.
