Hair rape! This is new in (non hentai) anime. Anpan approves!

So Hyouka, along with Accel World, seems to be my favorite anime this season. So much moe, so much cuteness and a main character I can really relate to. At first I thought: “Oh god, it’s about a classics club, how boring is that?”, however, I enjoyed it very much.

The general setup seems to be case-of-the-week-like, with Houtarou, the protagonist, as some kinda lazy detective and Eru as the heroine that must be saved from whatever evil is out there.

All in all Hyouka is a funny, interesting and moe-filled anime. You just want to hug Eru <3

Seriously, just when you think you’ve seen it all, god slaps you in the face with this.

Apparently this series is about some sick fuck who has a zombie fetish. Talk about weird shit.

Chihiro is in deep shit. Serious business.

Opportunities. Some only come once in a lifetime

So Chihiro’s cat dies and gets buried and he decides it’s a good idea to dig up the grave, put the corpse on ice and try to revive it as a zombie?! Yeah right. Genius idea. While flipping through an old book about resurrection magic, he overhears bishoujo Rea screaming into a well that she hates her father taking nude pictures of her on each of her birthdays to record her growth. To keep him silent, she will do whatever he wants. Gotta try that, too!

Rea seems to really turn into a zombie in the end, though it’s not really shown if it’s real or a prank. Looking forward to the next episode! 4/5 Kurisus:

Can those eyes lie? Of course not! Moe (and ahoge) is justice!

Well what can I say… moe alien girl who doesn’t look like an alien at all suddenly appears and uses dubious moves to kill demons who target the protagonist by smashing their testicles with a stone while laughing suddenly appears and proclaims her love to him.

Long story short: This anime is awesome. Moe, comedy, fanservice – FAPTASTIC:

ultra tl;dr version: The beauty and the beast – anime SciFi version

tl;dr version: Chubby wimp fleeing into the virtual world meets super moe bishoujo trying to lure him into some fishy business.

I see what you did there!

Ok let’s see… Moe: check! Bishoujo: check! Ahoge: check! Revealing fancy dress: check! Delicious flat chest: check! Wings: check! Now some grilled pork and everything would be perfect!

This season seems to have a moe comeback. Accel World has some potential. Accel World is about Haru, who is a chubby guy who’s bullied at school and lets off steam in the virtual world, where he excels at games and “Kuro Yuki Hime” (Snow Black Princess) who offers him a way to get back at his bullies by giving him a program for his “Neuro Linker”. Neuro Linkers are the devices that allow it’s users to enter a virtual world and integrate computers completely into one’s live. You could say it’s a completely thought controlled computer.

The program Haru gets – Brain Burst – accelerates the thought process by a thousand times and thus give the user plenty of time to get out of tricky situations. However, there seems to be some other, Street Fighter-like function.

In any case, this is a kinda fun anime. Currently lots of potential to both fail and win, so 4/5 Kurisus:
